Identify hot spots quickly to efficiently avoid potential risks!

Introducing the HOBO Compost Monitoring & Hot Spot Detection Kit from OneTemp. Perfect for commercial compost operators, this kit gives you real-time data and responses to changing temperatures. Our robust T-bar stab probe with a wireless Battery/Solar powered temperature transmitter will ensure reliable temperature readings while the state-of-the-art cloud based software platform sends data to you via a 4G remote monitoring station.

Get immediate access to hot spot detection, plus scalability potential (up to 50 sensors) that grows as you do. All you need is a browser on your PC, tablet or smartphone and you'll receive cloud-based recording – no complicated software required.

Increase coverage by mitigating blind spots of data transmissions

HOBO’s innovative smart sensors provide an improved data collection solution, allowing for a meshed "hopping" functionality. Once a signal is blocked by a mulch/compost pile, it can connect with another interconnected sensors to transmit its data and ensure that no area remains without sufficient coverage - extending up to 5 km radius across multiple sites containing compost/mulch mounds! This remarkable scalability means you can hook up as many as 50 separate sensors into your wireless network.

Map your temperature sensors for complete site transparency

The mapping feature apart of Onset's HOBOlink cloud platform allows you to visualise your site's temperature sensor readings in real-time, allowing you to monitor hot spots from anywhere, 24/7 as well as be alarmed of critical conditions. Not only does this allow for more effective management of hot spots onsite, but also helps boost overall efficiency and accuracy across operations.

Wireless Sensors

Our T-Bar stab probe and 4G receiver is designed to detect hot spots quickly, allowing you to efficiently identify potential risks before they become disastrous. The wireless Battery/Solar powered transmitter sends temperature readings directly to a cloud-based server with the 4G remote monitoring station, eliminating the need for complicated software and settings.

This kit is ideal for monitoring:

  • Compost
  • Mulch
  • Hay
  • Grain
  • Bio Waste

Remote Data Logging Station

The compact HOBO MicroRX Station (RX2106) is an easy-to-deploy, low-cost cellular solution for long-term, reliable monitoring of compost conditions. The station includes an integrated HOBOnet Manager for easy deployment with wireless HOBOnet sensors.

HOBOlink Cloud Reporting - 24/7 Data Access with Real-time Alarming*

The HOBO Remote Station transmits data to HOBOlink – Onset’s cloud-based software platform. HOBOlink makes it easy to access current and historical temperatures, manage and control your stations remotely, and set alarm notifications via email and SMS should temperatures be out of range.

Another feature of wireless technology is an almost real-time alarming functionality, alerting you and key staff via SMS and Email of a potential self-combustion situation so you can take appropriate measures. All your recorded data is at your fingertips whenever you need it.

*Please note: Ongoing yearly fees will be required after the initial 12 months for the Sim Plan as well as, access to the HOBOlink cloud-base software to manage your site.
