The combination of the RX3000 (or U30-GSM) and an Intech water level sensor with an analogue output provides a solution to remotely monitor water levels and access data via the internet. This system can also send notifications when critical water levels are reached. Typical applications include monitoring wells, groundwater, surface water, storm water and storm surges.

This solution uses a vented water level sensor to get real-time level readings, without needing to use a separate sensor to do barometric pressure compensation. This allows alarm notifications to operate directly from the sensor readings. The water level sensor can be directly connected to the Analogue Sensor Port of the HOBO RX3000 or U30 station.
